PEECE Pty Ltd is a private company owned by four directors, who between them offer a broad range of technical expertise. The company does not have any employees; rather each director has his own company that provides consulting services to the road transport sector. When they come together as PEECE, they explore opportunities outside their own markets but where they have a common interest. They have access to transport economic and town planning specialists enabling them to offer a range of services.

To assist with the governance of the company, they have an independent chairman who is not a shareholder, to preside over their annual general meetings. PEECE offers services in the domestic market but also has an overseas interest in China, described as follows:

Our Australian market

Our domestic market has two focuses. One is to undertake road feasibility and infrastructure planning studies and the other is to provide pavement management and technology services.

Our aim is to support road authorities particularly local councils with:
(1) a robust feasibility study and business case to support an application for funding from a State or Commonwealth  program and
(2) technology for gaining the most out of their pavement design and road maintenance budget.

Our China interests

Our Chinese interests have developed from our technical exchange and collaboration with the Jilin Provincial Communications Department and their Transport Research Institute.

More recently they have linked ARRB with a number of Chinese road agencies to explore commercial opportunities for research in pavement design and technology. PEECE facilitated a study tour of Australia and New Zealand for a group of engineers from Jiangsu Province in November 2019.
